Amoxicillin Trihydrate 23.5 gm
(Equivalent to 20 g amoxicillin base)
Properties:-
Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
It is highly soluble without leaving any sediment.
Indications:-
It is used to eliminate respiratory infections caused by non-penicillinase-producing Streptococcus and Staphylococcus.
It is used to treat gallbladder infections or intestinal infections caused by clostridia infection in chickens, turkeys, and calves.
It is used to treat inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract caused by E. coli, salmonella, and pseudomonas.
Dose:-
It is given through drinking water
Poultry: 1 gm / liter of water for 3-5 days
Calves and lambs: 20 mg/kg body weight for 3-5 days
