Each 100 gm contains:
Colistin Sulfate 600 million IU
Properties:-
Colistin with dual strength (on Gram-negative bacteria and their toxins).
Colitect works on Gram-negative bacteria that cause gastroenteritis and diarrhea in birds and animals.
It is characterized by its poor intestinal absorption, which gives it an extended and continuous effect.
It is characterized by its ability to neutralize toxins secreted by bacteria that cause intestinal diarrhea.
It is characterized by wide safety margin even when doubling the dose for more than twice.
It hasn’t any Negative impacts on production rates (meat / eggs) or on the hatching rate.
It is characterized by its efficacy against various strains and lack development of resistance to it from different bacteria.
Indications:-
For the treatment of gastroenteritis and diarrhea caused by (E-coli and salmonella) in birds and rabbits.
for the treatment of bird flu, bird cholera and pseudomonas in birds.
For the treatment of diarrhea caused by bacteria in calves and suckling lambs.
To treat udder infections caused by Pseudomonas in cows.
It is also used to preserve the semen of cows.
Dose:-
Poultry: 0.5-1gm/6L of water for 3-6 days.
Calves and lambs: 1 gm/50 kg body weight for 3-6 days.
