Each 100 gm contains:
5 gm Doxycycline HCL
50million IU Colistin Sulfate
Properties:-
Colistin has dual strength (on Gram-negative bacteria and their toxins)
Doxycycline is member of tetracycline family with its efficacy on bacteria.
Gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria that cause gastroenteritis and diarrhea in birds, animals, and this combination have a synergistic effect (Synergism).
It is characterized by its poor intestinal absorption, which gives it an extended and continuous effect.
It is characterized by its ability to neutralize toxins secreted by bacteria that cause intestinal diarrhea.
It is characterized by its lack of negative impacts on production rates (meat / eggs) and the highest hatching rate.
Indications:-
For the treatment of gastroenteritis and diarrhea caused by (E-coli and salmonella) in birds and rabbits.
For the treatment of bird flu, Fowl cholera and pseudomonas in birds
For the treatment of diarrhea caused by bacteria in calves and suckling lambs
To treat respiratory diseases in birds and animals
To treat udder infections caused by Pseudomonas in cows.
Dose:-
Poultry: 1 gm / liter of water for 3-5 days.
Calves and lambs: 1 gm/5 kg body weight for 4-5 days.
