Properties:
Spectinomycin belongs to the aminoglycosides group and is effective against Gram-negative bacteria (bacteriostatic).
Lincomycin belongs to the lincosamides group and is effective against Gram-positive bacteria (bactericidal).
Linox is a synergistic combination, providing enhanced activity compared with each product used alone.
Linox is effective against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, in addition to Mycoplasma.
Owing to its distinctive formulation, Linox achieves a lower minimum bactericidal dose.
Linox reaches peak plasma concentration within 2–4 hours and persists for up to 12 hours.
Linox maintains high activity in the gastrointestinal tract for prolonged periods.
Indications / Use:
Linox is an ideal product for eliminating Mycoplasma (CRD) in poultry and turkeys.
Linox is used to eliminate Gram-negative bacteria (e.g., Salmonella, colibacillosis, avian coryza) and Gram-positive bacteria (e.g., Staphylococcus, Streptococcus).
50–150 mg Linox/kg live body weight.
(Equivalent to 0.75–1 g Linox/L of drinking water).
1 pack Linox (150 g) is sufficient for 1.5 tons live body weight for 3–5 days.
